Anseo: Architecting Digital Agency in Adolescent Mental Health.

Adolescence is a period defined by rapid emotional transition, yet digital mental health tools often feel either too clinical or overly infantilised.

The brief for Anseo (the Irish word for "Here") was to design a high-fidelity mobile intervention that empowers young people to self-regulate through intuitive, daily check-ins without the friction of traditional therapeutic interfaces.

I served as the Lead Designer for this pitch, architecting the end-to-end user experience within Figma. The strategy was rooted in "Visual Agency" through using a sophisticated, calm-inducing palette and rounded, tactile UI elements to reduce the anxiety of emotional reporting. I deconstructed complex mood-tracking into a rhythmic, gamified experience that prioritised ease of use over data entry.

While remaining a conceptual pilot, Anseo serves as a definitive proof-of-concept for the "Visual Architecture of Trust" applied to the digital health sector. It demonstrates my ability to take a high-stakes social brief in adolescent mental health and translate it into a functional, high-fidelity digital product. This project underscores my technical proficiency in Figma and my capacity to lead the UI/UX strategy for complex, human-centric mobile applications.
